Shashi Tharoor’s English is more proficient that everyone knows.
Actually, Shashi Tharoor’s extraordinary vocabulary has made him popular with a few jokes over the years.
You, regular person: bhaiyya gol gappe dena.
Me, Shashi Tharoor: Kinsperson, would you grace my plate with some spicy-water filled orbs?

Here is a joke that he himself has mentioned on occasion.
However, things escalated on Republic Tv, when Arnab Goswami appeared on AIR to allege that Tharoor is hiding information about the mysterious death of his wife, Sunanda Pushkar.
Sunanda was died in 2014 under mysterious circumstances, prompting a number of conspiracy theories over her death.
Goswami exposed a series of tapes, alleging that Tharoor forcefully kept Sunanda away from the media right before her death.
Arnab’s ultimate point was that Tharoor murdered his wife, and that the Congress government helped him in getting away with it.
